Overview: Whether you want to ride, or want to watch some great competition, the Winter Park Mountain Bike Race Series will please just about anyone. The format for each event is different, with racers competing in classes varying from beginner, sport, expert, pro, and semi-pro.
Where: Racecourses are spread out over the Winter Park and Fraser area.
When: Saturdays from June to August.
Cost: Entry fees are required for riders. Free for spectators.
Details: The series kicks off with the Hill Climb, and is followed each week by a new event; the Mountain Circuit #1, the Cross-Country Super Loop, the Valley Point to Point, the Mountain Circuit #2, and finally the King of the Rockies' Tipperary Creek Point to Point Grand Finale.
You must be over the age of 12 to enter, while racers can compete for the championship through the entire series, or enter just one of the events.
