A 2-3 person dog sled will take you on a scenic journey through beautiful forests and meadows. You can choose the duration of your sled ride: 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remember to make your reservation as soon as possible. Shorter rides are better for young children who may get cold more easily. Longer rides allow you to see more spectacular scenery and increase your wildlife viewing potential. Moose are often spotted alongside the dog sledding trails, as well as snowshoe hares, eagles and hawks. Mostly, however, you'll enjoy the company of the Siberian and Alaskan Huskies as they guide you through the winter wonderland.
Each sled dog has a unique personality and role as a team member. There is a lead dog in charge of every sled and the other dogs are trained to follow the pace and direction of this dog. Throughout your ride, you will get to know and learn to trust the sled dogs and the musher. You will be amazed by the speed and grace of your journey with the dogs. Dog sled riding allows you to appreciate the peace and beauty of nature while experiencing a true adventure.
